on the Day of Juma’
الموت يوم الجمعة

From Anas & Jabir bin Abdullaah that the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said:
الموت يوم الجمعة
Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya
From Anas & Jabir bin Abdullaah that the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said:
«مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ»
‘There is no Muslim who dies on the Day of
Juma or the night before Juma’ except that Allaah protects him from the Fitnah
of the grave.
[Collected
by Ahmad & Albaani said the hadeeth with all its narrations is Hasan or
Saheeh. Ahkam al-Janaiz P.35]
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ
رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
«مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ»
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ من طريقين عن عبد الله بن عمرو،
والترمذي من أحد الوجهين، وله شواهد عن أنس وجابر بن عبد الله، وغيرهما، فالحديث بمجموع
طرقه حسن أو صحيح أحكام الجنائز للألباني
