Shaykh al-‘Uthaymīn: When Do I say Māsha’Allāh, TabārakAllāh

Shaykh al-‘Uthaymīn: When Do I say Māsha’Allāh, TabārakAllāh

Questioner: May Allah extend your life! This is the questioner, Abu Abdullah, he says in the first question,

“If a person sees what amazes him, does he say Maashaa Allah Tabaarakallah? (As Allah wills, blessed is Allah!).

Or Maashaa Allah Tabaarakallah Laa Quwwata illah billah?

(As Allah wills, blessed is Allah, there is no strength except with Allah) and are they all correct?

Shaykh ‘Uthaimeen (Rahimahullah):

All praises are due to Allah, Lord of the worlds and prayer and salutation upon our prophet, Muhammad, his family, his companions and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgement.

If a person sees that which amazes (pleases) him, pertaining to his wealth, then he should say Mashaa Allah Laa Quwwata illa billah,

just as in the story of the companion of the two gardens, when his companion said to him:

It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden:

“That which Allah wills there is no power except with Allah.”

This is if he sees something amazing (pleasing) with his wealth.

If he sees it in other than himself then he should say “Barakallahu Alaihi”

(May Allah bless it for him) or a statement similar to it.

And if he sees something that amazes (pleases) him from the matters of the Dunya (world)

He should say: Labbaik, Innal ‘Aish, ‘Aishul Aakhiraah,

as the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) used to say.

So he says Labbaik meaning an answer to you then he said verily the (real) life is the life of the hereafter.

He makes it firm within himself at the same instance that the Dunya and whatever is within it does not remain and there is not any life in it but verily the real life is the life of the hereafter.

Na’am

Shaikh Sālih Al-Fawzān:The losers this Ramadān (2)

Shaikh Sālih Al-Fawzān:
The losers this Ramadān (2)
Acquiant Yourselves with the worth of this month..

From the people is the one who does not know this month except as a month of different foods and drinks, visiting of restaurants and filling the bellies. So he goes to excesses in purchasing products and consuming foods. He does not know that this month is a month of fasting and not a month of fulfilling desires. It is the month of fasting, the month of standing in the night prayer, the month of worship – and he should satisfy himself from that which Allāh has provided [of food] in accordance to that which will aid him in obedience to Him (the Most Perfect and Most High). Then there from the people one who is even worse

Palace in Paradise

From Mua’dh bin  al-Juhni the Companion of the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam, from the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- who said:

‘Whoever reads <<قُل هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ>> << Say, ‘He is Allaah, [who is] One >> [Soorah Ikhlas] until he finishes it ten times then Allaah builds a Palace for him in Paradise as well as additional benefits.’

Umar said: ‘Then we will have a lot of Palaces O Messenger  of Allaah!’

The Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- said:

‘Allaah has more and what is better.’

The Believer's Shade is His Charity

From Uqbah bin Amir that he heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) say: “Every man is beneath the shade of his charity until the people are judged (on the Day of Judgement).”

Marthad bin Abdullaah wouldn’t come to the masjid except with something to give in charity. Once he brought some onions and when asked why he brought these onions when the smell would affect his garment he said, “I have nothing else in my house to give charity with and a man from the Companions informed me from Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) that he said, “The shade of a believer on the Day of Judgement will be his charity.”

HADEETH OF THE SIWAK

From ‘Alee –radiyallaahu ‘anhu- who said: He commanded us to use the siwaak, and he said:

<<When the servant stands in Prayer an Angel comes to him to stands behind him, listening to the Qur·aan and drawing closer. So he continues listening and drawing closer until he places his mouth upon his mouth. So he does not recite any Aayah except that it enters within the Angel.1>>

Nine Things to Say Often - by Sayings of the Salaf - Trans. by Owais al-Hashimi

It is reported that Muammad [Ibn Sīrīn] – Allāh have mercy him – said:

We were once in the house of ʿAlqamah b. Qays. Rabīʿ b. Kuthaym entered upon us and sat in a corner of the house. Then he said, “Speak only a little except for nine things: subānallāh, al-amdulillāh, lā ilāha illallāh, Allāhu ʾakbar, reciting the Qurān, enjoining good, forbidding wrong, asking Allāh for what is good and seeking His protection from harm (evil).

Mentioning the Greatness & Glory of Allaah

https://alitisaambissunnah.wordpress.com/

بـسم الله الرّحمن الرّحيم

MENTIONING THE GREATNESS & GLORY OF ALLAAH

as-Saheehah (no. 3358):

From an-Nu’maan ibn Basheer (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) who said: The  Messenger of Allaah said:

<<From that which you mention from the greatness and glory of Allaah are:

‘at-Tasbeeh [saying Subhaanallaah: I declare Allaah free of all imperfections],

‘at-Tahleel’ [saying Laa ilaahah illallaah’: None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah], and

‘at-Tahmeed’ [saying al-hamdu lillaah’: All praise is for Allaah]:

they circulate around the Throne, and they have a buzzing sound like the bees, mentioning the person who uttered them.

Would one of you not like that he should have  - or that he should continue to have – someone mentioning him?1>>
