Ibnul
Qayyim رحمه الله said:
The
sign of the person’s happiness is to turn their attention toward themselves,
their sins, and faults, and to busy themselves with repentance and
rectification. He will not have time to reflect over what befell him; rather, he turns toward
repentance. And Allāh will help him , protect him, and defend him. So what can
bring about more joy than that for the slave?!
