‘Abdullah Ibn Mas’ūd رضي الله عنه
said:
“If you see a man among
yourselves committing a sin do not supplicate to Allāh against him and do not insult him. Instead, supplicate to
Allāh to cure him and to accept his repentance , for verily, when we used to
see a man ending upon good, we would have hope for him, and when we used to
see a man ending upon evil, we would fear for him.”
