SAYING SUBHANALLAAH IS BETTER THAN THE DUNIYA
Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya
Shaykh, Imam Ibn al-Uthaymeen – Rahimahullaah-
said:
‘From what is known, is
that saying SubhanAllaah
(far is Allaah from imperfection)
once is better, in a person’s
register of good deeds, than
the Duniya and what is in it.
This is because the Duniya
and what is in it goes away
and will end but saying SubhanAllaah and good
actions will remain.’
Allaah Azza wa Jal said:
ٱلۡمَالُ وَٱلۡبَنُونَ زِینَةُ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ
ٱلدُّنۡیَاۖ وَٱلۡبَـٰقِیَـٰتُ
الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا
وَخَيْرٌ أَمَلًا
《Wealth and children are the adornment of the life
of this world. But the good righteous deeds last, are better with your Lord
for rewards and better in respect of hope.》
