١٣٠١.وَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ
رَضِيَ الله تَعَالَى
عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ
رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ لاَيَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّتٌ.
Narrated
Hudhaifa رضى الله عنه : Allāh's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said,
“A
backbiter will not enter Paradise.” 1[Agreed upon]

1. Hāfiz
Mundhiri observes that according to a common concensus of the scholars of
Ummah, the practice of backbiting is forbidden.This is one of the major sinful
acts.
