When the slaves repent to Allāh...

Shaykh ʿAbdul-ʿAzīz bn Bāz رَحِمَهُ الله said:

When the slaves repent to their Lord, earnestly invoke Him, hasten to what pleases Him, cooperate upon righteousness and piety, mutually enjoin one another with good and forbid one another from evil, Allāh will rectify their affairs, suffice them of the evil of their enemies, grant them authority in the land, aid them over their enemy, bestow upon them His favours, and divert His wrath from them.

Do not feel safe from the evil companionship of three types of people

Shaikh ‘Abdullāh ad-Dhafīrī حفظه الله تعالى:

Do not feel safe from the evil companionship of three types of people, how quickly they turn  on you  and they have no loyalty or trust:

1. The self-deceived & light minded (foolish)

2. The arrogant fool

3. The despicable one who interacts with you for his own benefit, whenever he feels there is no benefit from you left for him, he turns on you, in fact, he inceases in his despicable  nature  and even strives  to disparage you.

Are you going to continue praying witr even after Ramadaan?

Some of the Ahlul –'Ilm  use to say that:

The one who continuously leaves off witr their shahāda (i.e testimony) is not accepted.

A Terrifying Punishment…

Don’t ever leave off the Prayer!

Al-Allāmah Rabee’ Ibn Hādee al-Madhkalee حفظه الله mentioned,

The one who refuses to pay Zakāt will be punished for a period of 50,000 years*, so how about the punishment for the one who does not pray?

التوكل والإنابة

Ibnul Qayyim رَحِمَهُ اللهُ said:

At-Tawakkul (relying upon Allāh) is half of the religion, the other half is Al-Inaabah (turning to Allāh in repentance).

Thank Allah for His Blessings & Be Grateful to Him (سبحانه و تعالى‎ )

Our Salafus Saaleh Were Very Conscious of The Fact That The Tongue is One of Allaah’s Great Blessings

Imaam Fudayl Ibn Iyaad (may Allaah have mercy upon him) once cried when he read Allaah’s statement:

[أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُ ۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ- Have We not made for him (i.e. the human) a pair of eyes?][ وَلِسَانً۬ا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ -And a tongue and a pair of lips?]; then he was asked why he cried, so he said, “Have you spent a night really thanking Allaah (for giving) you two eyes by way of which you can see and a tongue by way of which you speak?!”.
