Why have you abandoned the Prayer? The prayer brings you nearer to the Most Merciful, makes you distant from Satan, it wipes away sins and brings tranquility to the heart..

A masjid is from the houses of Allaah, so whoever enters a masjid of Sunnah and Tawheed is a guest of his Lord – and there is not heart better, nor a soul more joyous than the one that is a host of Allaah in one of His houses. Abu Dardaa (radiyallaahu `anhu) stated that the Prophet () said:

“The masjid is a home for every god-fearing, pious and dutiful person (taqiyy). Allaah promises the one who makes the masjid his home to give him ease, tranquility, mercy and permission to cross the siraat (bridge over hell) to the pleasure of Allaah and Paradise.” (At-Tabaraanee in Al-Kabeer, 6143; Al-Albaanee declared it Hasan in his checking of Al-Mundhiree’s At-Targheeb wat-Tarheeb, no. 330)
